Back to the future? Instead let’s go back to the PAST.
The past few days everyone took a direct trip to 2016. Brands, celebrities, content creators spent hours scrolling back to share exactly what they were doing a decade ago.
According to InStyle the answer is purely generational, and I couldn't agree more. With Gen Z in their 20s the ’nostalgia factor’ is a now across main of the online active generation.
10 years ago, in my early 20s, I made the decision to found my own creative agency, CROING l Creative Agency, part of the 0.1% of creative agencies founded by a woman. What began as a social media agency evolved into a creative one, and today it is becoming a cultural hub led by amazing women I admire.
Can’t wait for the evolution the next 10 years will bring! 💙
I’m Alejandra Salazar, Speaker, Founder & CEO of CROING l Creative Agency where we work with brands that want to get closer to their audience. Appreciating this insightful article on how 2026 reflects similarities with 2016 and the evolving digital trends discussed. The comparison of technology shifts and market behavior is very thought-provoking. It clearly shows how industries adapt over time with innovation and strategy. In a similar way, the self publish audiobook space is also growing as creators seek more control and direct audience engagement.
This blog was honestly such a relatable read. I really liked how you explained the return of 2016 vibes and why people miss that creative and authentic online era. It made me think about how much digital culture has changed over time. Many students balancing studies and personal interests also search for the best assignment helper in Australia to manage everything more smoothly. The comparison between past and present online trends was especially interesting and well explained. Overall, this was a thoughtful and engaging post with a fresh perspective.
