A Personal New Beginning: I'm engaged!!!!!

This Christmas, I had my own movie moment: I got engaged! 💍🥹

Growing up, I believed in and longed for romantic, Disney-style love. Over time, I lost that illusion. I’ve always been very work-driven, and that’s where I felt most confident, but on a personal level, things felt harder. I recently shared this during a talk with a group of high school students at HISPA, reflecting on how different things might have been if I’d had better mental health tools back then.

After many years, I finally started therapy, began getting to know myself better, and learned how to love myself more. Somewhere along that journey, I met Fran, aka Kakush. We’ve now spent five years supporting each other’s dreams and learning how to love one another better, starting with ourselves every single day. Many of you know him because he’s been by my side at events and on trips, collaborating at CROING l Creative Agency or from The Voice!!!

In the middle of a couple of intense work weeks, traveling from NYC to Argentina to reunite with our families, I didn’t manage to take care of many personal things, including buying the gifts that usually mean so much to me. But Fran took care of everything, and then surprised me with a beautiful proposal, next to our families and the Christmas tree, asking me to keep riding this journey together. And after saying, “Are you kidding me?” because I didn’t expect it, I said yes 🤍

Proof that timing, growth, and the right partner make all the difference, in life and in work.
