I started Day 2 of Advertising Week with a playlist full of positive work vibes, songs like âHoy va a ser un gran dĂaâ and âPut Your Records Onâ đ, and it really helped set the energy, especially during events as intense as this one.
First, hearing from Fabiola Torres, a Latina Global CMO for Gap who moved and inspired all of us, eres muy inspiradora y te quiero mucho, Fabi. Canât waitttt for whatâs ahead!
âYour audience doesnât work at your company.â Hearing from Lyftâs Jessica Bryndza (VP of Brand Marketing đ), who shared how some senior leaders had asked, âWhatâs The Summer I Turned Pretty?â, and how itâs totally OK not to know, but ask and move forward with whatâs relevant for the audience.
Then Kendra Dembro shared how Panera Bread stays in tune with culture through playful moments, and talked about their collab with Chris Briney from The Summer I Turned Pretty, yes, I was there for it! Sol from my team told me, âYou canât miss it,â and she was right. Itâs great to hear from brands tapping into relevant moments for audiences. Check out their collab!
It was wonderful connecting and listening to all Matt Prince, Megan Farmer, Ayan Sanyal, Kendra Dembro, Jessica Bryndza, Jill Gonzalez, Joy Doyin Ogunneye, Brieane Olson, Fabiola Torres, Meena Anvary, Peggy Roe, Kaisy Mae O'Reilly, Nick Fairbairn, Karen Vega-Porcelli, Kheri Holland Tillman, and Luz Infante Bickert.
