#HelloSunshine magazine’s hashtag#Sunnie featured Milagros Storto, CROING l Creative Agency’s Gen Z Chief Creative Officer, and reading it brought me to tears. While Sunnie is designed to inspire young girls, this feature will inspire the entire marketing industry: the power of emerging talent, mentorship, and a generation of creative leaders who are not next, but now. Thank you Reese Witherspoon, Courtney Cohen, Annie DiGregorio, Maureen Polo, Alyssa Duffy, Anggie Salazar, Ana Da Silva, Camila Lessire Briceño, Gabriela Torres Bighetti, our other Gen Z team Sol Marquez and Valen, and the entire CROING team.
Our first meeting with Hello Sunshine was a ray of sunshine. The alignment and shared vision—changing the narrative for women, for them in stories, and for us in advertising—also brought me to tears because it is a testament to where the industry is going, and what was once a vision is now a reality, kicking off with this feature of Mili!
Milagros Storto shares how she stepped into her role as Chief Creative Officer at CROING l Creative Agency at just #25 years old and explains that I told her we would have a new Chief Creative Officer. She was excited to meet that amazing woman—and I told her that amazing woman was actually her.
In the article, she talks about this ride we’ve taken together, and how she gets incredible ideas from all team members, even those outside of creative positions, like Yanira, our Head of Finance (and my mom ❤️). She also highlights CROING’s work, including our Hispanic Heritage Month campaign, Untranslatable, and the Sony Electronics campaign focused on connecting with hashtag#GenZ.
